If not bungie who?

With all the rumors that Bungie will not be making a Halo 4 who will? Can the world really let Halo die at 3? Is Microsoft going to be keeping the rights or will Master Chief be but on ice?

Bungie?
Even if Microsoft-owned Bungie somehow gets free of Bill's Gates the would most likely develop the next in the series.


Enseble Studios?
The MS Owned studio is the first other then Bungie that worked on the Halo license. The Halo Wars real-time strategy spin off due in 2008 might be a possible developer for the Halo 4 release.

Rare?
MS spent more then $300 million to by Rare in 2002, but the company has yet to get a hit produced. This would be a possibility to hit one out of the park for them and pay back on the investment MS had put into them.


ID?
Remember Doom? They know how to make an FPS why not this one? But what would come of the Halo story line?

Valve?
Half-life Halo, sounds good but valve has spent the last few years proving it doesn't need to take orders from anyone and seems happy to work at their own pace.

Some one has to run with the ball. Let's home we don't really see the end here.
