Landroval This server shares its name with one of the Great Eagles. Landroval was the brother of Gwaihir, the Lord of the Eagles during the War of the Ring, and was one of the Eagles who saved Frodo and Sam from Mount Doom. Gandalf also claimed that he was fastest of the Eagles of the Misty Mountains.

To raid or not to raid...that is the question!

I'm still up in the air with the raiding- I may have already hit my "raid healer" max runs already via other games.

I am sure that it will be a blast for others...and a very welcome addition.

*Edit- maybe one run...I just hope that it is not a gear/recipe focused thing to do.

Me too, I have always been pro-crafted items over loot drops. Helps the economy and gives people a reason to craft. And I am not sure if this is a instance for sure or an open area raid...I just know it's for higher level peeps.

I'm a minstrel that only really logs on in the daytime when most people are at work. So yeah, finding groups for all my fellowship quests has been next to impossible. My dps is nil and I usually need a partner for my solo quests too! I can barely take on a single gray elite by myself without dying.

The sad thing is, I do have a bunch of higher level friends that are always online the same time as me. But they are so busy in the Ettenmoors that they are never able to come help. The only time I ever see them is when I jump on my creep.

Morgan, it sounds to me like you are doing pretty well... despite the whole job thing! (That boar quest is a doozy. The boar is easy! The drakes surrounding the boar? Not so much.)

It's not too bad to solo...calm, quiet and relaxing- nobody running out of heal range then zipping back and running away again slightly before the heal goes off.

Nope- we don't do dps but we do last very well...remember that you have to use the strength of the class and build upon it. I love having the virtues and multiple gear choice so that we can switch these roles from fellow to solo much better.

I've gone from 35 and up with only being in three fellowships to date (not counting moors)...so a Minstrel can make his way as a loner.

*you will get some glares from angry people searching for a healer though*

I stick to light armor so I can slot other traits... if you've soloed Fornost and Red Maid... you are a better minstrel than I. (Those are the only quests I have left, plus The Deadly Broods in Rivendell. Maybe I timed all my deed grinding wrong... because after finishing everything, I'm still only level 38.)
