Hey am I doing something wrong? But when i battle there is no damage for me or the opponent. i have sat there for 20 minutes just to see.

Hmmm...looks like neither of you are making contact. I just blew through a bunch of fights this morning. While there would be periods of misses on both sides, it wasn't quite that bad.
I don't think I would surrender but maybe log out and log back in the finish the battle.

I logged out then back in and I still can't get a hit or get hit. I cannot get an xp this way.

It really depends on the person you have selected to fight. I fought the other day for seriously 30 minutes, because it just took forever to get hits in. And I noticed the sum up of what is going on, is not accurate either. Like when you hit say gollum for 30 damage, it still says you hit gollum for 30 damage, but then lists his full hp. /shrug.
