I heard a rumor that Turbine runs some of the gold farming sites in order to catch and ban the people that buy gold.

I heard this other rumor... but I'm afraid to even say it... because I heard a rumor that if you let some stuff slip about the game that's not supposed to be out yet, you'll get banned! Damn this Rumor Mill!

Much as it wouldn't bother me if they did, that walks that hairy line of entrapment or pretexting (pretending to be someone you are not to gain information). Buncha legal poop basically. Big thing is the violation of the EULA will keep ya banned, even if Turbine were found to be doing something not quite legal for which they would most likely get a slap on the hand. So while it wasn't worth it to buy gold, now it might be more not worth it

Anyone who does get banned by doing this, please come here and post so I can point and laugh at you.
