Tutorial for creating videos from in game

This is from Beherit a German guy who plays WoW and makes videos. It's basic, but deals with recording with FRAPS and good info on saving the end movie to a format that can be played on YouTube.

Then check out ayumilove's stuff at YouTube. Ayumi is just awesome and she's a guru of in game video stuff and has tons of video tutorials on using Windows Movie Maker. You can find her stuff here:

i hit hotkey to record and the fps thingy goes red for like half a sec and then yellow. checked files and vid clip is for a half a sec. how do u get record 2 stay on in fraps?

Ao, open FRAPS and turn off the record sound feature and try recording. If it records fine then, you need to update the sound drivers for your sound card or the motherboard drivers for the onboard sound device. If that doesn't help let me know.
Also everyone wants to make sure they are using the latest catalyst drives if using ATI cards.
Remember too, if you are only using the free demo of FRAPS you only get 30 seconds of watermarked footage at a time. You can set you shots according to that time frame and still do some nice videos if you try
